Who is Portugal's World Cup manager in Qatar?

Santos first came to prominence in 2016 when he helped Portugal win its first Euro title, defeating France in the final 1-0.

Fernando Santosh, a former defender with Estoril in the Primeira Liga, began coaching shortly after retiring.

He joined Estoril as an assistant coach before becoming the club's head coach for six years. Porto and Sporting CP are two of the top clubs he has managed.

In international football, he helped Greece qualify for the 2014 World Cup.

He joined Portugal in September of that year and has been associated with the team ever since, experiencing a roller-coaster ride.

The following year, Portugal won the UEFA Nations League but were defeated by Belgium in the Euro pre-quarterfinals.

Qualification for the FIFA World Cup 2022 has also been difficult. Portugal failed to qualify automatically, with Serbia leading the group.
