Severino's return could be huge boon for Yanks

In his first MLB game since July 13, the right-hander puts up a good five-inning start.

In his five at-bats, Judge was able to keep the ball in the park, and he added two runs to the Yankees' 14-2 victory over the Pirates at Yankee Stadium.

Severino remarked, "They questioned me if I was ready to face major league batters. "I feel quite wonderful since you don't forget that thing so quickly."

Severino, who was starting for the first time since July 13 and held Pittsburgh to one run on two hits throughout his five innings, was in complete control throughout.

Manager Aaron Boone remarked, "I felt he was fantastic." "I thought the consistency of it was the best fastball he's had maybe all year,"

Severino had become angry after the Yankees transferred him to the 60-day injured list on Aug. 1
