With a sacrifice fly to centre in the second inning, Matt Vierling scored the game's lone run, bringing J.T. Realmuto home.

Suárez had four strikeouts, two walks, and five hits.

Before José Alvarado completed the six-hitter for his second save, Zach Eflin recorded five outs.
