Giants pull Logan Webb early

SF Giants defeat Rockies in a game that was postponed due to weather.

Logan Webb remained in his comfort zone despite an hour-long rain delay at Coors Field.

As his partner built up a four-run lead for him, Webb held the Colorado Rockies hitless through his first five innings of the Giants' 6-1 victory.

Five Giants had multi-hit games, including Wilmer Flores who went 3-for-4, and every Giant in the lineup had at least one hit, giving the team a total of 15 hits.

Jharel Cotton reported at Coors Field on Wednesday after being claimed off waivers by the Minnesota Twins on Sunday.

To make place on the roster for infielder Jason Vosler, the Giants also designated Lewis Brinson for assignment. This added another left-handed bat to a team that already had one.
